News Analyst Assesses Christian Zionist Responses to Leadership Changes in Israel

In the article “What’s Next for Christian Zionists?” journalist Colum Lynch explores the beliefs of Christian Zionism, including Christian Zionism’s historical connection with anti-Semitism. He goes on to describe Christian Zionist reactions to the new political leadership in Israel. Support for Israel and its policies remains strong among U.S. evangelicals -- even stronger than among American Jews -- although the evangelical landscape shows signs of increasing diversity.
Colum Lynch is senior diplomatic reporter for Foreign Policy magazine. He is the recipient of the 2011 National Magazine Award. A graduate of the Columbia University School of Journalism, he has previously reported for The Washington Post and The Boston Globe.
